Client Synopsis:

Full Scale Solutions is currently recruiting for the following position which could be based in any major metropolitan city, but prefers the incumbent to sit in Chicago, NY, or Dallas. Our Client is a rapidly growing niche technology company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager is to provide superior enablement and pre-sales support to our Client's reseller community. Activities would include product demonstrations, customer presentations, as well as participating in training of channel pre-sales employees on their products. This person should possess and maintain superior product skills as well as superior verbal and technical presentation skills. In addition to the primary responsibility of supporting direct revenue generating activities, the Regional Sales Manager will provide marketing support in the development of materials to facilitate pre-sales activities, as well as participate in activities to maintain customer-centric input for the R&D team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive business in established key channels/accounts.
  • Work with marketing to develop supporting presentations, demonstrations, and channel training material.
  • Participate in product development meetings to provide customer-centric feature/function feedback.
  • Participate in marketing activities including customer conferences and trade shows.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of products and a working knowledge of sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a minimum or a Bachelor’s degree, a Masters degree is highly desirable.
  • At least 3-5 years of technical support and/or application engineering experience with a finite element product.
  • Must have previous sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Data Center market is required.
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills are a must.
  • Requires strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand customer business requirements and align to with solutions.
  • Demonstrated process knowledge for managing large accounts, sales presentations and short-term and long-term opportunity management essential.
  • Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on strong customer relationships.
  • Experience in engaging internal resources to drive necessary development and prioritizing account team needs.
  • Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers.
  • Must be able to work in a cross matrix management organization with the ability to offer direct and indirect influence.
  • The ability to position end to end solutions and articulate complex technical solutions.
  • Need aggressive self-starter with ability to build mid-level and executive relationships.
  • Must know how to manage account planning processes.
